With the final countdown to the big game on Sunday underway,
party throwers and party guests are searching for delicious recipes to serve.
When the final football game of the season kicks off, fans and foes alike are
ready to cheer the touchdowns or laugh at the commercials. The key to making
the evening an enjoyable one isn’t the score of the game, it is the food. From
a large gathering to bite with just the family, Walmart is serving up some
regional favorite recipes that will get rousing applause.
Walmart has compiled some regionals recipes that everyone
will enjoy. Plus, Walmart is the perfect place to find all the recipe
ingredients at reasonable prices.

- Midwest: Ruffles Pulled Pork Nachos
- Southeast: Tostitos Spicy Shrimp Fritters
- Southwest: Pepsi & Mustard Pulled Pork
- Northeast: Tostitos Mozzarella Bolettes
- West: Sweet & Spicy Wing Sauce Made With Sierra Mist (pictured, recipe below)
Ingredients
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
- 3 liters Sierra Mist lemon lime soda (reduced into Sierra Mist syrup)
- 1/3 cups chili garlic sauce
- 1 tablespoon instant chicken flavor bouillon
- 2 teaspoons warm water
Instructions:
- Make Sierra Mist syrup: In a large pot reduce 3 liters of Sierra Mist until you have 6 cups left. (Alternatively you can use Sierra Mist Fountain Syrup if available to you.)
- In a large saucepan combine the Sierra Mist syrup, garlic sauce and bouillon.
- Dissolve the corn starch in the water and mix into the Sierra Mist mixture.
- Heat until just boiling and thickened. Hold for service or cool to 41 degrees and refrigerate.
