Experience La La Land at Warner Bros Studio Tour
The visually and lyrically stunning La La Land is a Hollywood dream. What if you could step into the film? Warner Bros Studio Tour is offering that specific experience.
Now through March 6, guests can step into a scene from La La Land. A portion of the movie, the Café Sur Le Lot, coffee shop set, has been reconstructed for the Warner Bros Studio Tour Hollywood. While Ryan Gosling may not be waiting for you, guests can sing and dance their way to a Hollywood inspired memory.
The Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood offers 110-acres of movie inspired experiences. From interactive soundstages to exhibits, guests will get a special view into the world of stage and screen. This tour has been a recipient of Trip Advisor's Travelers Choice Awards and has been named one of the Top 25 Attractions in the US.
Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood is open Monday through Sunday, 9:00AM to 3:00PM, with studio tours departing every 30 minutes and extended hours offered during the summer, spring-break and winter holiday seasons. Reservations are recommended and all children eight years or older are welcomed. Love is in the cocktail for Valentine’s Day
Valentine’s Day has been called the most romantic day of the
year. From the flowers, chocolate and extravagant dinner, the celebration
focuses on the romantic side of life. All the love in the air can transcend
into Valentine’s Day cocktails as well.
While a luscious glass of red wine can get the hearts
beating, a specially made cocktail can elevate the desires between the love
birds. From a spicy cocktail to a sweet, bubbly libation, Valentine’s Day
cocktails should appeal to the couple. To inspire this year’s Valentine’s Day
celebration, a few spirits have created cocktails for the holiday.
Which cocktail will you serve?
Tall, Dark and Stormy
Ingredients:
- 1 part Solerno
- 1 part Flor de Caña 7
- ½ part Averna Amarco
- ½ part fresh lime juice
- 3 parts spicy ginger beer
- ¼ part simple syrup
- Glass: Collins
- Garnish: Lime Wheel
Preparation:
Shake ingredients except
ginger beer with ice. Strain over fresh ice in a Collins glass and top
with ginger beer. Stir to combine and garnish with a lime wheel.
Tullamore D.E. W.
ELEVENSES
Ingredients:
- 3 parts Tullamore D.E.W.
- 2 bar spoons raspberry preserves
- 1 part fresh lemon juice
- 2 1/2 parts Irish breakfast tea
Preparation:
Add all ingredients to
shaker with ice. Hard shake and strain over fresh ice in a Collins glass. Garnish
with a lemon twist.
The Raspberry Rose Royal
Ingredients:
- 1 part Hendrick’s Gin
- 1/5 part sugar syrup
- 1 fresh raspberry
- Top up with champagne.
Preparation:
Combine raspberry, sugar
and gin in cocktail shaker and shake briskly. After just three strong
shakes, finely strain into base of flute before. Perfect for a Galentine’s Day
celebration!
Sparkling Rose Margarita
Ingredients:
1 ½ parts Milagro Silver
¼ parts simple syrup
½ parts fresh lemon juice
¾ parts watermelon juice
2 parts rosé sparkling
wine
Garnish: 1 lemon twist
Preparation:
Combine all ingredients,
except sparkling wine, in a cocktail shaker and add ice. Shake, strain,
and pour into a champagne flute. Garnish with a lemon twist.
